Clean, nice exhibition with a friendly guide called Claire. You look down on the factory floor, which tends to be making the caramel on Mon-Fri in the mornings. Very nice shop with their own wide range of toffees and caramels along with other Normandy products such as cheese and Calvados. Not the most riveting of visits (it's basically a talk overlooking a tiny factory with a nice shop). Good place to buy gifts.

Celine the hostess was very informative .we had a excellant visit around the small museum. We were also able to watch the making of the famous isigny toffees .I would certainly recommend this visit .the ice cream is to die for ..the shop is amazing full of all the naughty but nice things .such a variety of toffee lovely gifts for all the family .the famous isigny biscuits .jams honey nougat and much more .I cam out with hand fulls of trinkets .thankyou .I will be back sometime .

A very short drive off the N13 motorway, close to the roundabout at the exit and before entering the town of Isigny-sur-Mer, Caramels d'Isigny has a large parking lot with 2 buildings, one housing the caramel store with all sorts of caramels and other goodies, as well as small gift boxes and souvenirs, very tastefully displayed. There's also an isolated cheese boutique in the back, as well as beverages from the areas such as Calvados and pommier. I visited this store on several occasions and staff were always friendly and helpful. There are free caramel samples by the entrance. On the outside of the caramel store, there's a soft serve ice cream wicket that serves delicious flavored ice cream. Across the lot, you can take a self guided tour of the caramel factory for €3.30. This is best done Monday to Friday during business hours. There are display windows showing the floor of the caramel factory with a French language recorded audio track explaining what is going on. Adjacent to the caramels factory building and accessible from the parking lot are two large and clean public bathrooms.
